Lyophilized peptides should be stored at -20°C, away from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8°C.

Reconstitution

Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol — the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized peptide compounds. We carry 3ml and 10ml vials in the Supplies section.
Draw the recommended BAC Water volume into a syringe. Inject slowly along the glass wall — not directly onto the powder. Gently swirl to dissolve. Do not shake. Store reconstituted peptides at 2–8°C.
We recommend U-100 insulin syringes for most peptide research protocols. BAC Water is available in 3ml and 10ml vials in the Supplies section.
